We build with our hands, but we’re rooted in love — for our family, our community, and every person who chooses to be part of this journey.
Meet Our Family
We’re Tyler and Jaycie Hill — mom and dad to two incredible kids, Clay and Aria. Ash Hill Creations officially began in 2023 after Clay was born, sparked by Tyler’s long-standing desire to build something of our own — not just punch a time clock, but create a life and business rooted in purpose.
In the beginning, Tyler worked nights and weekends after his corporate day job, slowly building his portfolio one piece at a time. Somewhere in the middle of all life’s chaos, we welcomed our daughter Aria into the world in 2025.
In November 2025, Tyler stepped away from his day job to pursue his version of the American dream — running our woodworking business full time, for our family and for the community we now call home.
Meet Tyler
Tyler has always wanted to work with his hands. After graduating in 2013, he began in the automotive industry — a natural step after years spent in the garage with his dad.
Over the next decade, he worked his way through nearly every role imaginable: detailer, technician, salesperson, customer support specialist, and eventually support leader. If you had a question, Tyler either knew the answer or knew exactly how to find it.
While he found real fulfillment in helping people and leading teams, he missed building something tangible. Growing up, he admired his late uncle’s construction company and the homes that would stand for generations. Woodworking reignited that spark.
Mostly self-taught through long nights in the garage and hours studying the craft, Tyler approaches every piece with patience, precision, and a constant drive to improve. If he doesn’t know something yet, he will — and that mindset is the foundation of everything we build.
Meet Jaycie
Jaycie has always known her greatest role would be being a mom. Everything else has simply been a tool to build a life that supports her family well.
In 2019, she graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Computer Science and spent the next seven years growing into a senior software engineer. When a corporate layoff in late 2025 unexpectedly shifted her path, she stepped more fully into Ash Hill Creations — bringing her technical skill, eye for design, and systems thinking into our website, marketing, and daily operations.
At her core, Jaycie is people-first. She believes business should feel human, not transactional. She values laughter, real connection, and building something meaningful alongside the people she loves. That perspective shapes how we communicate, how we serve our customers, and how we continue growing this little dream of ours.
